Description
Adidas ZX 8000 Sean Wotherspoon Superearth Adopts a composition of recycled materials, from various fabrics to form a multicolored patchwork.
After teaming up with Nike for the Air Max 97/1 and then with Asics on a Gel Lyte III, Sean Wotherspoon, co-founder of Round Two, collaborates once again with Adidas and unveils an sneakers eco-friendly sneaker for Earth Day 2021.
The Adidas ZX 8000 Sean Wotherspoon Superearth features a composition of recycled materials, made from various fabrics on the upper to create a multicolor patchwork. Notably, there is Scottish tartan on the quarter panel, canvas on the toe box and around the lacing system, and denim on the forefoot and the three lateral stripes. There is also a red embroidered flower on the left shoe and the Adidas Originals trefoil on the right. Finally, to complete the design, there is a “Super Earth” inscription at the top of the lace tongue as well as Sean Wotherspoon’s initials stitched onto the heel.
This new collaboration, which marks a real step forward in terms of durability and eco-friendliness, once again highlights Sean Wotherspoon’s creative talent, leaving us hopeful for future silhouettes to come.
