Very comfortable and nice looking shoes. Laces are good and don't come undone without tying a double bow. Soft leather uppers.

Shoes look and feel great. I'm very happy with them, though I've already scuffed them up a bit from overuse - that should tell you how often I've been using them! Superstars have been in style since the 80's and keep on rocking. These Vulcs are a bit lighter than the original and the insole is different. The insoles are comfortable, but they aren't as slick and more of a rubber kind of material that don't really allow you to slip these one while leaving the laces tied like the original. Also the stripes are more integrated into the side instead of being a seperate stitched piece like on the originals and tend to crack kind of over time. Besides that, I do find they wear better over time than the originals.

Had an older gen of this shoe, it was amazing. This pair is wearing out a little faster than the last gen. The old pair also fit AMAZINGLY, and this one was a bit tight. I changed the lacing style (to horizontal) and it solved the narrow feeling of this pair. Only reason this got 4 starts is because the last pair blew... my... mind! so I might be comparing too much.

I have given most of my other shoes away in favor of these Kizik shoes - I now have three pair. I was always having problems bending down to put shoes on and tie the laces - that is no longer a problem, as these shoes slip on and fit firmly for lots of walking! Kizik was the first to come out with “slip on” and they did it right, as the backs snap back up tightly. Lots of copy-cats out there - I’ll stick with Kiziks! Did I mention comfort? My most comfortable, supportive shoes, too.
