I am a huge Chuck fan - BUT I have flat feet, and can wear them comfortably. My husband and daughter cannot. I feel like most people that wear Chucks do so because they want to make a "fashion statement" at the cost of their feet... I just need them for my flat feet - and thus every 10-12 months I order a pair of Black Chuck Taylors, works for me!

I must say i like this ones more than any other i have, they are confortable, is not a common one, so everybody will be telling you about them and the cool they look. they run small and the tongue is somewhat flimsy making it hard to position right before lacing. I noticed that there is extra material on my right shoe where the tongue is sewn on. this is noticeable and quite annoying when I run. for lighting weights though, its not too bad.

I like the wide wide which is equivalent to 2EE to my understanding, and the X-Wide is a 4EE or EEEE, which is to wide for me and my feet roll around in them....However this shoe does not have memory foam inserts. Which is the only negative thing about this shoe. And to put an antra insert in the shoe leaves you very little room for my foot. The price is good. Two day service as promised package in a heavy duty poly bag.
