I hadn't worn a pair of Chuck Taylor's for over 40 years and bought them for old times sake. Wow! They handle an orthotic very well and are surprisingly comfortable. The go-to 'non-athletic' athletic shoe frankly. I've been buying the 574's for like 20-some years for basic purpose of getting around with jeans. Super comfortable everyday wear. No a particularly good running shoe but that might just be me.

This is also the first pair of Black. I should have picked grey on second thought.
