The shoes look great but they are just black with shiny black squares, not charcoal and black like in the picture. Also if you're half size shoe person , like me, order the half size up. Typically I am a size 7.5, so that's what I ordered. The shoes were nearly impossible to put on. It was a very tight squeeze and my toes were a little cramped. I am going to try to exchange it for a size eight. I suggest actually going to a store if you can. I wish I could have.

TL;DR round up your shoe size when ordering (7.5 -> 8)

Though the listing pictures make these shoes look “cream”, they are indeed white in-person. At least the upper portion. The bottom sole is gray. It shows on the label that the entire shoe is man-made. The bottom sole does not feel like rubber. It has the feel of pressed paper. There is nice arch support, and a fair amount of padding inside. Some padding around the ankle as well. These shoes are Made in China. They may be a little wide for some. These look more for those in the nursing profession.

While these shoes are quite a bit heavier(weight wise) than the athletic shoes I normally purchase they are very comfortable. They fit well and I like the styling of the shoe. The support of this shoe is great for walking.

I initially bought these for a trip involving long walks over hilly, cobblestone streets. They held up very well (and thanks to these shoes, so did I). There was very little evidence of wear, and they are still in great condition. I will continue to wear them as good casual walking shoes. I indicated that the shoes fit "as expected," but I should add that I usually wore them with heavy socks. Had I been wearing thin socks, I would consider them "somewhat wide," but still a good, comfortable shoe.
