These Brothers United luxury lace up leather men's sneakers are really nice! They're made with leather and have a padded foot bed, elevated rubber sole, and blunt arch support for comfort. They're designed in New York and handcrafted by shoe artisans in Brazil. Brazil is known worldwide for their quality shoes. Ordered these for my son and he loves them. These were purchased for my teenage daughter. She wears them with skirts, shorts, and jeans - they go with anything! The fit is good, but I withhold one star for the lack of cushioning- there is very little "give" so these are not the best shoes for all day walking.

I love Chucks. This was my first weatherized pair. They keep my feet dry and warm. These like most Chucks do not have ANY arch support. I recommend the arch supports sold by Dr. Sholl's . I use the Dr Sholl's in all my Chucks.
That being said I do not go trekking through deep snow or very cold temperature in them.
For about 6 inches or less of snow and 20-30 degrees F they are fine.
Unless you hate the color purple these are a good version of Chucks.
